On 11th November 2025, the TrashiYangtse Dzongkhag Administration joined the nation in celebrating the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The joyous occasion was graced by the presence of the Dzongdag as Chief Guest, along with Drangpon, Dzongrab, SP, OC, CEO of Khorlochhu Hydro project , DT Thrizin, regional and sector heads.
The celebration at the Dzongkhag Tendrel Thang began with a traditional Chibdrel and Marchang ceremony. The program continued with vibrant cultural and mask dances, showcasing Bhutan’s rich heritage.
The event concluded with the Trashi Labay ceremony, symbolizing peace, unity, and prosperity, followed by a tokha served to all, sharing the spirit of joy and togetherness.
