Jamkhar Jangchub Chorten, built by Trulku Kuenga, under Jamkhar geog, is located on the hill top of Golongso, ten Kilometers from the National Highway of Trashi Yangtse and Trashigang. Thrulku Kuenga is the follower of Payja Rimpochoe. The Jangchub chorten is built with three stories. The first story contains one thousand statues of Guru Rimpoche, the second story holds one thousand statues of Chenregzi and third hold the sokshing of the chorten and one thousand statues of the Buddha. From the chorten one will be able to view the scenic beauty of Tashigang town and the mighty Tashigang Dzong. One can also enjoy the view of whole Jamkhar village and Khamdang Gewog.
