Coinciding with good zakar, the Woman and Child Protection Desk, WCPD had been formally inaugurated today on 16 November 2023 at Trashiyangtse Police Station. Keeping the ongoing NA Election period in mind, the inaugural program was carried out in a low profile. The fund for the establishment of WCPD at Trashiyangtse has been provided by the  UNICEF office in Thimphu through our Project Officer at RBP headquarter. We therefore, would like to thank our Project Officer for her wonderful job and UNICEF office for their generous funding support.
