Over 2000 people of Trashi Yangtse gathered at the Dzongkhag Tendrelthang to celebrate the 117th National Day. The celebration commenced with a solemn chibdrel ceremony, followed by the lighting of butter lamps and the offering of zhabten prayers, invoking blessings for His Majesty The King and the well-being of the nation.

The event recognized and honored individuals for their exceptional contributions to the community with certificates of outstanding performance. Adding to the festive spirit, the audience was enthralled by Zhana Ngacham and traditional cultural dances performed by schools, dzongkhag and regional staff, the business community, and local groups, showcasing the richness of Bhutan's cultural heritage.
