As a precursor to the Annual Tshechu, the Dratshang Rabdey arrived to the New Trashi Yangtse Dzong from Dongtir Dzong today on the 6th day of 1st Bhutanese month, corresponding to 8th March 2022. 
On their arrival, as was the practice traditionally, the Soethap was accorded by Dasho Dzongdag, Dasho Drangpen, Thrizin, Dasho SP, Dzongrab Gom and Dzongkhag sector heads. 

The three day Annual Tshechu will commence from 10th-12th March, 2022. 
Owing to the pandemic, the Tshechu will be a closed door event attended by the monk body, Dzongkhag staff and Regional heads in strict compliance to all COVID-19 safety protocols.
