Mr. Kenko Sone, Minister (Economic & Development) Embassy of Japan  and  the Dasho Thuji Tshering, Dzongdag inaugurated  Common Facility Center for Traditional Handmade Paper Making on 12^th April,2019 at Yangtse town.

The History of paper making has been made to provide Buddhist monasteries with paper for woodblock and manuscript books and for writing prayers and mantras.The art of paper making is popular in Bumdeling and Rigsum Goenpa in Trashiyangtse.
